Sunken Escapes started with a simple idea: that the best vacation in Nova Scotia shouldn't require leaving Nova Scotia. We built a glamping property directly on Sunken Lake, in the heart of the Annapolis Valley, where guests could swap traffic for loons, screens for stars, and the daily grind for a sauna and a kayak.

Today we host couples, families, dog-people and accessibility-first travelers across four cabin types — from our luxury Spaceship dome to pet-friendly mini cabins tucked deep in the trees. We're 15 minutes from Wolfville, surrounded by 40+ wineries, and deeply committed to protecting the dark sky overhead.
